Born and raised in Northern Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie, near the world-famous Cedar Point Amusement Park (America’s largest roller coaster park), Bill has always been deeply connected to community and storytelling. At 17, he joined a high-demand fundamentalist religion and went all in. Within that experience, he gained valuable skills in delivering sermons, performing rituals, and officiating weddings. Over time, Bill began to question and deconstruct those beliefs, leading to the creation of a podcast aimed at helping others navigate unhealthy religious systems. In 2014, he turned this passion into a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people on their personal journeys.
